You are evading the issue. SOMEONE has to make the determination whether or not they are fit for a ground combat role That SOMEONE for now is, I believe, Congress in that they approved the services's recommendation that women not be allowed ground combat roles (I could be wrong about who made the reg, but someone has). Now you think that we should pick and choose from among the female ranks to fit that role. It just doesn't work that way. Just as there are very few MEN who are qualified for SF, SEAL, Airborne and the like, only the best need apply so to speak. You keep looking for a finite answer to a question that doesn't have a finite answer. I think that had you ever served, you might better understand the situation but you have brought up an interesting situation.
