The good doctor's statement seems pretty straight forward to me - he thinks you blew it! Professor Kivinen does say so. But if one reads Kivinen's statement more precisely -- Kivinen says that the work contains no results; and if one reads the work itself, it contains about six scientifically novel theorems. Maybe the Finnish academia love paradoxes. Thats is why I said Kivinen's statement is "weird". AJY Summary In my judgment, the manuscript does not meet the requirements for a doctoral disser- tation. The most serious shortcoming is the lack of new scientic results of any real signif- icance. Furthermore, the way the author presents and argues his ideas do not satisfy the requirements of a scientic publication in computer science. There are also serious problems with the organisation of the material and the use of literature
Seems pretty understandable to me....

Seems pretty understandable to me.... Oh yes indeed. It is very clear and error-free English. And highly understandable. It also is not true. If you read the work itself -- as I said, it contains about six scientifically novel theorems. One can see that with his/her own eyes. "The most serious shortcoming is the lack of new scientic results of any real significance." says Professor Jyrki Kivinen. So it indeed seems that the Finnish academia love paradoxes, as I said. AJY

Often, when I start up this Proboards bulletin board system -- I see two pictures of half naked men. It happens to be the case that somebody indeed lied that I were homosexual; lied that I were gay. So I attach one more of my short stories for the TELICOM. It is a heterosexual romantic short story. AJY A Tale of Juhani and Liisa.odt (23.68 KB)

I had the impression that the TELICOM people liked military fiction. So I wrote this one. They have not yet published it; I don't know for sure know what they will do with it. AJY MetropolNerve.odt (25.86 KB)
