"We've heard of ghosts that harass the living. Now people are starting to harass the ghosts. Virtually every night on television, a paranormal investigator like Bagans can be seen trying to summon a ghost or "dark spirit." All across America, novice investigative teams are creeping through people's homes at night, trying to get rid of their paranormal pests." at www.cnn.com/2013/09/07/us/ghost-hunters-haunted-by-new-terror-competition/index.html

I like the idea of going on the attack. If religious leaders have the spiritual means to getting rid of them, then let's do it in an organized way.
The problem, as always are the so-called skeptics who refuse to accept the evidence.

Bit hard to convince this atheist about ghosts.

The chances that I believe in ghosts are even smaller than that I might start to believe in Swampy's global cooling theory, which is close to absolute zero.

I think Swampy has his tongue in his cheek about global cooling.

I think Swampy has his tongue in his cheek about global cooling. No he is not talking tongue-in-cheek - and since when has Swampy been talking in the third person?

They have as much right to life, liberty and happiness as anyone else!

And why should we want to get rid of ghosts? They have as much right to life, liberty and happiness as anyone else! Ghosts are dead, so there's no life, and they make us unhappy by scaring us, so we can do the same to them. BTW, what do they get out of scaring us anyway?

If you are not afraid of the dead, they can't scare you. Right, Undertaker?

My brother was an undertaker, it runs in the family.
He related a story of his early days where he was preparing a 'customer' for viewing, when he accidentally knocked them on the head as he turned around. He said, "woops, sorry about that".

Depends on whether they use the passing side or the suicide!

as an undertaker, I assume they are there, all around. But I have to work in this spooky old house at 2 AM and so I just ignore the bumps and odd noises.
