At one time Hellmann's real mayonnaise was made exclusively in England, and shipped by tall ship around the world. There was a small village in Mexico that loved the stuff, they couldn't get enough of it, and every year they would save their pesos, and order a ship full. As the ship, in early May, was pulling into the harbor with their mayonnaise, it struck a reef and sank. Ever since then the day is been *mourned* by that Village, and now all of Mexico, as the Cinco de Mayo
