The beginning of the end of the Vietnam war started on 3, September 1969.
That was when Big Bad Don arrived in Vietnam and somebody must have told Ho Chi Minh!
Ho Chin Minh died as soon as he got the info. that I arrived. That was the real start of the end of the war, when NVN lost their top guy that day, & all because of me!

The beginning of the end of the Vietnam war started on 3, September 1969.
And I think we all know why.

Did Tet tell Uncle Ho? That's been my working theory.

If Tet was in the Tet Offensive then he would have been home in Sept 1969.

It's that day again.
The end of the Vietnam war started 50 years ago, when Uncle Ho died as soon as he found out I arrived.
I just wonder who told him.

It's that day again.
The end of the Vietnam war started 52 years ago (3, September, 1969) to the day, when Uncle Ho died as soon as he found out I arrived.
I still wonder who told him I arrived.

Yeah, but then look what happened two years later. If you mean the end of the VN war, that happened well after 1971. 1975 is when we got out of there. I cannot think of anything that happened in 1971. But of course after I left Vietnam the war would quickly end with the enemy winning. -Don- Reno, NV
