It will be the 50th anniversary of the 'TET' offensive this year, actually about now i think.

Perhaps the best way to describe the '68 tet was it was a storm of hurricane proportions the Americans were never caught off guard they were well aware that something was in the works they just weren't sure where the shit was going to hit the fan one big problem was that the ARVN Army was basically useless they didn't even make good cannon fodder this is not to say that the ARVN Rangers and Paras weren't good they were just not near enough of them ...
