Ok. The funeral director never saw the bodies. He only got a description of them from the nurse. Also, they never really did get the small coffins, they just asked the funeral director about them. Supposedly the bodies were put on ice, according to the nurse. they asked the funeral director about how to plug the holes, but did not get him to do it. Presumably no funeral was ever held, but also the bodies are probably not buried or disposed of in any other way. they are probably just in storage, so at Wright Patterson. Regarding the crash, reportedly there was a tremendous lightning storm the night before the wreckage was found, so the ET vehicle could have been a victim of natural phenomena.

Of all the area of the entire earth, it is a major coincidence that a vehicle from another planet should crash at the only classified military site in the immediate area. Is that strange or not? No, it makes perfect sense. The US had nuclear facilities as well as rocket facilities, both of which would interest an extraterrestrial power. [/quote Actually, "it" crashed on a ranch not on a military facility.

Is there any evidence that either nuclear or rocket facilities existed in Roswell? And if ETs had the capability to travel across light years of space, why would they be interested in such ancient technology as rockets and nuclear weapons?

Let's see, now - they had the technology allowing them to travel, safely, across light years of space only to be brought down by a lightening strike? Passenger aircraft survive lightening strikes all the time, but can not travel in space. Does not compute.... if this secret has been successfully kept for 66 years, it has to be the best kept secret the US Government has ever held....

I understand that the Roswell base was the home of the unit that did the bombing at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and as such was the only military base in the world at that time that has such capabilities.

You understand incorrectly on at least two parts. Alamogordo was where the bomb was developed and it was tested, as were all subsequent bombs, in the NV desert.

If we assume that there is NOT a habitable planet much nearer than 7 to 10 light years away, or that the visitors could travel MUCH faster than the speed of light, then the travelers MUST have left home long before nuclear power/weapons were a fact.
It was all a big secret from 1942 to 1945 and the news of it would have gone out via radio waves at the speed of light for those 2 years from 1945 to 1947.
In my opinion the travelers could not have known of it before they left.

right, I should have been more clear on the atom bomb thing. To be specific, what Roswell was, was the home of the 509 bomb group of the 8th Air Force. They had been the unit that had dropped the A Bombs at the end of WWW2. That was unique in the world, and perhaps attractive to researching outsiders.

If they are here from another solar system, they could have been observing us for centuries. Perhaps they left probes to collect data, and they only came in person after we learned to split the atom.

I'm sure they have been here for centuries. Probably millennia.

I still want to know why they came all this way in order to crash in the NM desert , was it part of an experiment do you think ? they wanted to see how hard the desert was .
