I disagree with its three points, especially when it says bigotry is endemic to Islam but not, say, Christianity. Watch the video, and I will dispute its points in return. 1. If the Qu'ran is intolerant, so is the Bible - the last chapter of the Book of Revelations talks of not altering the Bible or else. 2. I am against Sharia Law, but the Catholic Church has a long history of imposing religious law. And, even today, many Christian fundamentalists still want to impose religious law onto a secular society. 3. Muslims may lie to non-Muslims, but look at what happened at Waco, and look also at all the scandals involving churches. The video talks of Taqiyya, which says Muslims can lie to non-Muslims, but, as a cursory search of the Wiki entry on Taqiyya shows, this was an act of preservation to prevent persecution. I understand Jews went through the same thing.

I disagree with its three points, especially when it says bigotry is endemic to Islam but not, say, Christianity. I agree. It seems that entire thing was written by Christians, not Muslims. It seems to be straight from one of the countless "Liars for Jesus" websites. I seriously doubt if all Muslims think alike about what the Koran says to any more of a degree than the Christians agree with the Bible. Under Christianity, we have countless different and often opposite beliefs. I can't believe the Muslim world doesn't have the same problem. Here is a cute example of Christian beliefs on the Bible: But what I wonder is why man beliefs so strongly in such obvious nonsense as religions. Is it a mental disease or what? It's obvious it's an addiction to many people. In fact, some people even manage to OD on their religious nonsense. IMO, religion is a drug. A way to escape from reality. But such a common disease almost anywhere in the world. -Don- Reno, NV

But what I wonder is why man beliefs so strongly in such obvious nonsense as religions. Is it a mental disease or what? It's obvious it's an addiction to many people. In fact, some people even manage to OD on their religious nonsense. In fact neurologist have proven that the human brain has an area if stimulated can cause in most cases very strong religious manifestations, even when the persons were not religious. It is not know yet what the real function of this area is, but it is highly active when the person is seriously injured or dying. But it seems not to be related to the "White light" many dying people saw and it is not related to the centers which are active when we dream. For more rational reasons, humans invented gods as an explanation for things they couldn't explain but are important enough to cause the wish to influence them.
