That's the result of the feds cutting back on th worker bee's while the managers continue to thrive. What's wrong with this picture? Reminds me of the story that was going around in the mid 50's about the headquarters of a German munitions manufacturer being fully staffed even though all their factories had been destroyed in by Allied bombing.....

Interestingly enough, about a year ago I decided to swallow my pride and asked to have my disability rating re-evaluated. From the time I submitted my paperwork until the time that the Veteran's Evaluation Service - a group established to help speed up the paperwork - entered the process (minus the four months I was gone last year), it took approx six months. After my first appointment with the VES (I had another one last week to evaluate a different problem), it took two weeks before I was notified that my rating was being increased. The introduction of the VES should help speed up the process for everyone.
