Inflation will DEflate the debt burden of the Western World. The buyers of Government Bonds will enjoy a Big Mac with the redemption cheque on maturity.
My home loan in 1973 -1980 became a minor expense of the monthly budget.

One solution is to live in a safe country in the undeveloped world, like Costa Rica or the Caribbean, where the cost of living is cheap. The trick, of course, is to ensure that the country actually is safe.

Back in the olden days, about 1980 I think, my communist brother and his more fanatical communist wife went to Nicaragua to 'help with the harvest". All includerd in a trip to the communist utopia of Cuba to actually meet Fidel Castro.
They arrived at a farmhouse in Nicaragua and did in fact bring in the harvest. Then at night they all slept on a mat on the DIRT FLOOR!
VERY quiet about the joys of communism for at least a few months after that.
