NYPD now confirmed that all nine wounded were caused by police officers. It is clear from the video that the police officers were in an unlucky position when the attacker was opening fire as a number of people were still in the line of fire. One can clearly see in the video that one police officer is moving to the wall of the next building to change the line of fire so he might hit cars instead of people, but the other police officer couldn't change and is most likely the one who wounded most of the people while emptying his revolver. edition.cnn.com/2012/08/24/justice/new-york-empire-state/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 |
