A Kenyan lawyer has filed a petition with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, suggesting that the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was unlawful, and the State of Israel among others should be held responsible, Kenyan news outlet the Nairobian reported on Friday. Dola Indidis, a lawyer and former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary is reportedly attempting to sue Tiberius (emperor of Rome, 42 BCE-37 CE), Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel. www.jpost.com/International/Kenyan-lawyer-takes-State-of-Israel-Jews-to-Hague-over-Jesus-death-321555

Didn't the Romans do it? Which would mean Italy was liable, not Israel.
Is he for real or is this a satire???

What happen to Jesus was meant to be otherwise how could he have risen on the third day ? . The Romans crucified Jesus at the Jews insistence because at the time by Roman law the Jews could not put anyone to death .

Since he was executed by Roman officials, and since the last known government that was asserting its responsibility of heir of the Roman Empire was the Byzantine Empire operating out of Constantinople, it seems to me that the logical receivers of the subpoena should be the people today running that city, now Istanbul, namely, the Turkish government.
Just my legal opinion.

Good point, John - if he rose on the third day, how can anyone sue for damages?
