This interested me greatly but it won't affect me because there is a local Austin CBS affiliate who is unaffected. I also get both the LA and NYC feeds of all major networks.
Why cut off your nose to spite your face? If there is something you want to watch, watch it. I certainly don't care about a station's political bent whatsoever. If I did, I would probably watch Fox most of the time and the only time I do now is when NASCAR or golf is on as well as a couple of series. The rest of the time they don't have anything I care for.

It has nothing to do with politics, Denny. The cable company (Time Warner) refused to pay CBS's increased fee to allow them to carry their programming....

The internet is, however, breaking down the TV/cable oligopoly, so this issue may be moot in a few years.
