The disturbing fact is that there is a lot of reliable radar-visual evidence, and this just can't be explained away. But would aliens buzz us all the time???

I have NIL interest in experiencing -30C temperatures.
I start complaining at +20C.

No, not to my knowledge, at least not the United States. What they have in Texas and other southern states is a species called Fire Ants, which do not seem to be quite as destructive, but are equally ill tempered.

I have read that 'Army Ants' are the stuff of nightmares in South Africa.
Eat a monkey etc if they get hold of them.
