That is small change, a couple of months before the NSW Labor government lost office they sold 50% of the government owned electricity power stations registered as private businesses, the valuation was $12 Billion and Labor accepted $5.7 Billion.
When hidden debt was repaid, private companies do not issue public financial records, debt used to increase dividends paid to the state government to improve their Budget bottom line, the sale realised a paltry $800 Million. $4.9 Billion hidden debt.
In addition each business had highly paid executives who also paid themselves bonuses and drove expensive vehicles and had large expense accounts all apparently approved by their socialist government cabinet ministers who appointed them, them being party members of course.
This is another example of why many of us want a Royal Commission conducted into the union movement and their ALP
