I had a tough time deciding if this belongs here in the nonsense section or if it's really based on scientific facts. "Did Life Start On Mars? New Evidence Supports Long-Standing Theory That We Are All Martians" See here.-Don- SF, CA

Well, it is a possibility, but not more (yet). The more we learn about under which circumstances life is possible and how surprisingly common many of these building blocks for life are distributed throughout the universe, the more likely it is that life in one form or another might have existed here and there and somewhere else. I doubt that the link between Mars and Earth is strong enough as we get much more of the necessary ingredients from meteorites together will water. But it might be possible. Until somebody develops a good working time-travel system we will not know for sure. Most likely you need more than one start-point as the living conditions weren’t that ideal back then.
It is a nice brain teaser for scientist and the successful Mars missions will provide much new data, which looks at the moment very good compared to other potential areas, but only because we haven’t yet started the same kind of deeper scientific research in situ there.
