Gallup polling has shown that public acceptance (or lack thereof) of evolution has not changed over the years. The latest one shows that 15% believes in evolution, with God playing no role, while 46% believes in the Creationist version, and 32% believes God guided evolution. As Carl Sagan would say, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. So, if a greater percentage (46%) believes in Creationism, while only 15% believes in atheist evolution, then the evolutionists have to provide extraordinary proof, which means a complete fossil record. If they do not, then evolution is not proven.

But if the majority in the USA is believing in god's hand in this, they really must have good, complete and convincing proof of god's existence. Would be good if they could share them, as not even the Roman Catholic Church is believing what the people in the USA are believing. The Roman Catholic Church has accepted the evolution long ago.

"The Roman Catholic Church has accepted the evolution long ago."
That at least SOME of the bible (if not all) is Bovine Excreta?

Roman Catholic Church has accepted that most of the non-historical stories of the Bible are mainly used for illustration purposes and shouldn't be taken word by word as true. It is the message, not the word that counts and of course they focus more on the New Testament, not the Old Testament.

We call that over here, "having an each way bet".
Much like the IPCC, or was that IPGW, recently admitting their doom and gloom was bovine excreta.

Case is very well closed, but some people believe in so much superstitious nonsense that they ignore facts and truth by using faith. Unlike science, faith requires neither facts nor truth. -Don-

If someone can come up with a piece of fossilised wood or bone, that is clearly millions of years old, then creationism is a dud!
If a skeleton of a primate is 1 million years old, then creationism is a dud!
You simply do not need a string of bones each generation from 1 million years ago to the present, to disprove creationism.

You simply do not need a string of bones each generation from 1 million years ago to the present, to disprove creationism. JMO SJ I suppose both could be true. Creationism via evolution. But trying to prove evolution today would be the same as trying to invent the wheel. Evolution is clearly well proven fact as shown by the modern scientific method. Those who debate evolution might as well debate if the earth is flat. And there are religious nuts who still believe the earth is flat. There is no limit to the type of silly nonsense some can believe. Check out the Flat Earth Society.-Don- (in Carlisle, PA)

I ain't clear on what their nonsense is all about, even after reading most of it.
What is their main objective, if any?

Don't think there is an official affiliation, but they do share a philosophy....

Don't think there is an official affiliation, but they do share a philosophy.... Perhaps drinking instead of flying? But they say they are not against flying. Their nonsense made no sense to me. But that's the nature of nonsense. I rarely can make sense out of nonsense. -Don-

Don - its a social club which gets together to have fun. No serious intent intended.... That's what I assumed. That's what I think religion is to a lot of people too. Just nonsense to get people together. But the same can be done with real issues. Nonsense isn't really necessary. This is kind of a social club too. So is the cycle forum I belong too. Tom & I met the president of the cycle club in Gettysburg today. But the military and motorcycles really exist. And least these forums are not built up on only pure nonsense, as so many others are. There is still a little nonsense here, but a little nonsense is tolerable. -No Nonsense Don (in Carlisle, PA)
