Something like 20 million were killed in WWI , A year later 40 million died = Spanish influenza yet very little is heard about it , why , because its much more exciting to hear about a grunt sinking out of sight in the mud on the western front .

20 million is not even what the SU suffered - the global dead is probably 50 million.

WW1, (The Great War)
The Influenza Pandemic of 1919/1920 is supposed to have killed an 'estimated' 55 million. The next one will kill 10 times that.

That pandemic was spread by troopship, and the next one will be spread by the 747. It will be around the whole planet in a day.
EVERY flu pandemic is a different strain, and the ONLY real defence is social isolation.
Do not want to even think about it.
