The Rosenberg's were executed in NY in 1953 for spying for the USSR giving the Russians secrets on the Atomic Bomb , there is one problem with this , the secrets to make the atom bomb could easily be found in the encyclopedia Britannia all anyone had to do was combine the necessary ingredients , the instructions were neatly printed out in the book .So why were the Rosenberg's executed ? , because they were communists . simple eh .

I really doubt that 'how to build an atomic bomb' was in the Encyclopedia Britannica in WW2.

It was in the 1947 edition , knowing how to do it and doing it big difference , heavy water was well known in 1942 and the concern that Germany might get the bomb first .
