Some background. Quite a few years ago, a Sikh sued the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and won the right to wear his turban while in uniform. The military has since adjusted its policies to accommodate members of this religion. Now, some organizers in Vancouver have created a cadet corps, and they want to use the name, "Sikh Cadets". The military, however, is refusing to approve the name, because it insinuates the unit is only fit for Sikhs, while the military is supposed to be all-inclusive. I would agree with the military, and I think its refusal will hold up in court.
