The Shroud of Turin is defiantly a mystery , whether or not it was the burial cloth of Jesus is one thing what put the image on the cloth is a question without an answer , nothing known to mankind can duplicate it , nothing .

A good dose of BS could do it! Oh yes; and also a mediocre portrait artist with some primitive say 1400's crayons. Some solid fat and some good clean soot make good drawing crayons. Even today artists' best black oil colors are made of very fine grained soot. (I know that, I have painted oil color works.) Why do all portraits of Jesus look different?
