SJ points out that the forum has been reduced to 3 active members this is not acceptable , to get more people interested you need to reduce the number of subjects to international , military wars , two subjects only , eliminate everything else . Stick to what works .

Sounds like a good Idea, why didn't I think of that?

Lets face it the most successful forums stick to one subject this forum is much too fragmented , international pretty much covers everything and military can go back to Hannibal or Troy .

Ask Jerry. What happened to Dry anyway?
Prem also posts every few days, so maybe four.

Yeah all domestic , economics , ect could come under one heading international and all military could be covered under one heading military .

I read everything that is posted so the headings under which they come do not matter to me. I sort of treat the forum as having just one heading and read everything - which we could do if you guys would want it -- just one heading like "Stuff" or "Sound off" and folks just post what they want without trying to catigorize it. I don't see how that would increase the membership here - but we could try it.....

It's not going to increase membership, because I've noticed that many other places have only a handful of regulars - this is a trend that we are part of. In any case, Don seems to visit every day, and Premier posts every few days, so we're still active.
I think the only reason to reduce the number of categories is convenience.

Change the name from The to " A New Military and international Forum " that would put it further up the forum list , have only two topics listed , Military & international .
