What's a disgrace? What's wrong with requiring PROPER ID from anyone who wants to vote? There are probably many good reasons for requiring ID to vote, the main being preventing anyone who is ineligible, i.e., illegal alien, from voting. The federal government has established the law, now the state governments must follow them or work with the Feds to change where they deem appropriate.
For you or any foreigner to say what is right or wrong for us is equally as wrong as it is for the US to try to dictate to other countries how to govern their people. It's none of your business.

What do you mean, it's none of my business? Don't you know I'm running for President? Ask Sir John, if you don't believe me.

Sorry, I forgot. Also after reading my previous post, I think it came out harsher than I meant it to be so I apologize for that as well. That's one thing I hate about the internet. It's much easier to do things face to face.

High Court Weighs New Look at Voting Rights Law The Voting Rights Law applies to only a few states and regions. The requirement currently applies to the states of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. It also covers certain counties in California, Florida, New York, North Carolina and South Dakota, and some local jurisdictions in Michigan and New Hampshire. Coverage has been triggered by past discrimination not only against blacks, but also against American Indians, Asian-Americans, Alaskan Natives and Hispanics. www.newsmax.com/US/Supreme-Court-voting-rights/2012/10/28/id/461747
