Jerry suggest we focus on quality of people, and, as usual, he's right.
I have done an informal review of several other forums in various subject areas, and most of them seem to be made up of just a dozen or so regulars. The odd person may come in and post for awhile, and that's it. This is not surprising, because it's so easy to start a forum - like we did this one - and, as the supply of free forums approaches infinity, the number of members per board approaches, well, zero, or, perhaps, one.
If other places have just a few regulars, then that's what we should aim for. And let's not get too heated over anything - take it from a divorce lawyer, you shouldn't get upset unless someone pays your hourly rate - in advance, of course.
