It's not that funny, in my arrogant opinion.

It's not that funny, in my arrogant opinion It wasn't even worth a smile. But the word "funniest" is much like "best". IOW, Just BS words. They mean nothing, unless the definition is given every time the word is used. Just like the words "freedom" and "love" and several others that mean nothing until well explained with other words. And that even includes the word "Liberty", Jerry! -Don- Reno, NV

You're right, Don, which is why I don't think any lawyer can be the "best". A person can be the richest or run the faster, because these can be measured, but many other attributes can't be measured.

Perhaps best lawyer can be measured by the percentage of cases won. That would certainly make Perry Mason the best lawyer ever! -Don- Reno, NV

Well, Jerry, I would have to go with Don on this one.
As George Orwell said in his novel, "1984", words can be distorted, so "war" can mean "peace". The enemies of freedom have tried to destroy liberty while pretending to be its guardian - just ask the former members of the communist bloc.

Guess so, Don. If you don't know what it is it would be hard to value it. Sorry for you.... The problem is that I do know what it is. And it's a bit different in every country, and in some ways, the commie countries have more "liberty" than we do. And in other ways, we have more than they do. And which whose way is the "best" mainly depends on who is asked. -Don- Reno, NV
