This is not going to have a big impact. China's labor force is shrinking, and its overall population will do so sometime in the next decade. But population rates are falling all over the world, even in the undeveloped Islamic states, and young Chinese families are not going to start reproducing. For those who are observing economics, China's days of high growth are over.

Strange that the media is not saying a word about gender imbalance.
The damage over 35 years has been done, and is basically irretrievable. Both in the demographics of the economy, and the unbalanced sexes, with about 120 males chasing 100 females, and the birth rate will continue to suffer from that for the next two generations.
