3rd Feb 1917.
US breaks off diplomatic relations with Germany.
Later declares war on Germany, arrives in France a year later, and then takes the battlefield in late June 1918, just as the round 15 bell sounds.
"Over there, over there, we won't get there until it's over over there"
....but - "WE WON THE WAR"

I knew something must have happen I should have known it was when the U.S. won the first war that ended all Wars . And then the second one came along, and we realized there would never be a war to end all wars.

As long as humans are forced to live amongst each there will be a war and since the idea of total war is passé there will never be a total win so why bother ? .
