Do it, and I'll modify your post. Ok, let's do this simple one (I'll see the resluts in the morning). This is how you do itI know YOU can do it, but I can't. This is just too frustrating.

Denny - I have set it up to be a "one key" operation. I constructed a macro that has the format and Ijust cut and paste the url when I want to link to something. Here is the macro
[text] in typing it you would go [ (this is a square bracket) after the [ type url= Then insert your URL the lose the square bracket ] next anothe square bracket [ type in the text that you want to appear and close the square bracket] next [ then /url then close the square bracket ] that's all there is to it.

[test]Let's see how this works. Also, I see the macro you have created, but how can I also use one (I've never dealt with macros before) and where can I find it (that's a great straight line that I hope you will ignore! ;D) HALLELUJAH!!!!! Now what I really need is how to use the macro as it could get really tedious going through the whole process tying everything in. But at least I did it once if never again. Thanks, Jerry

Macros are a part of most operating systems these days and how to use them will depend on the system you are using. The easiest way would be for you to email me with your email address and I will send you a small program that will create macros for you. Once you load it, it is pretty self explanitory. I use it for all the repetative stuff I have to type. For instance, to type the string for imbeding links all I have to do is press control+H and it is entered as i typed it long, long ago....

PM sent. I can't believe you didn't save my email address from the last time I lost all my passwords and couldn't get on the forum. You missed a great chance then, didn't you?

I probably have it somewhere, but I have so many e-mail addresses on file that it is hard to locate any particular one - much easier to ask you to send it again It's now near midnight so I'll send the file to you in the morning...

Denny, I emailed you the macro program this morning. Let me know if you received it OK.

Jerry,
I got it, installed it on C and then when I opened it there were about 10 files none of which I understood. So, I don't understand it. Incidentally, there was no indication of anything being zipped.

Incidentally, there was no indication of anything being zipped. Denny Your operating system must have unzipped it automatically for you. Now you need to double click on the .exe file which will run the program and get you started on producing macros. If your operating system is hiding the file extensions on you, it should be the file that looks like keyexp
