Not really, the Emus won, we LOST! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_WarSome Pom idiot said the Emus were "rare", there are ZILLIONS of them. Same with Kangaroos, some stupid woman in California took us to the UN to stop the annual cull, and claimed they were "endangered". The really big danger is if the Emus and Kangaroos (MULTI Zillions) form an alliance, they will be able to take over the country in a revolution and threaten the ANZUS Treaty. .....and New Zealand! (Though the Kiwis have ZILLIONS of possums that are really fierce!) SJ

Once in the outback an Emu jumped out of the scrub beside the road and turned to formate with the car. For maybe 3 seconds he was right beside me at 70kmh and kept up for that time.
Was having a picnic at a nature park, and one came up as we were eating lunch. I had a small heavy plastic sauce sachet on the table and the Emu scoffed it in a couple of seconds.
Worlds UGLIEST bird!
