He has no trouble smashing police car windscreens with milk crates but it seems Muslim rioter Omar Halaby is not fit to work, receiving a $200-a-fortnight disability support pension … We heard yesterday that (He has been on a Disability Pension since the age of 16 WHY ? because he had diarrhea !!!!! ) What a joke 3 years on a disability pension and still is !!!!!LIFE is so good in Australia IF you are a Muslim >>>> the Government gives you everything When The Daily Telegraph visited his home yesterday, Halaby did not wish to talk about his reasons for claiming the pension. His father also refused to comment. He’s had long enough to think about it: In documents tendered to the Downing Centre Local Court, Legal Aid lawyer Sophie Edin said Halaby suffered from “certain disabilities” which had seen him claim the pension for the past three years. He’s received disability payments since he was 16. Car make Omar angry! Omar smash! The poor kid must be barely able to function: “He has some physical problems in relation to some football accidents,” Ms Edin told the court. “He has literacy issues, a short attention span, things to that effect.” In other words, he’s been diagnosed as a teenager. There ain’t no cure! Muslim community leader Keysar Trad said he was not aware of the nature of Halaby’s disability but claimed it was often difficult for Muslims to find employment, even if they were able-bodied. “If you have any name that is Middle Eastern or Islamic, you’ll often find you don’t get past the interview stage,” Mr Trad said. A few more riots ought to fix that. Attachment: thug.png (345.5 KB)

I wouldn't just say Muslims; I would say anyone, including local-born Australians, Americans, and Canadians.

Swampy,
The People's Democratik Republik of Gillardia has about 656,000 unemployed (5.4%) . It has over 800,000 on 'DSP' - Disability Support Pension.
'Nuff said!

Swampy,
You seem to have missed the major grudge about our peace loving muslim (refugee) brothers.
The people of Australia generally can see through a bloke who leaves his country and travels, with a ticket, a passport, and a visa, via about 3 and sometimes 4 countries to get to OZ. He does not ask for "refuge" in any of the 4 countries.
Then he pays a bucket of money in Indonesia to sail to an Australian island, and THEN claims refugee status. He does that because of Australia's socialist social security policies.
THAT is what we are on about.

We have that problem too. If you're talking abuse of the immigration system, I would agree with you, though I would also say it affects fake Chinese refugees as well. But this OP refers to abuse of the welfare system. Sticking to the topic, yes, Muslims abuse the system, but so do non-Muslims - you think Christians and atheists don't have their share of welfare bums??? I would LOVE to have us discuss immigration abuse in a new thread.

Don't forget that Muslims are permitted more than one wife but in Oz that is illegal so our welfare system provides for the husband and first wife and children and separately for the "single mothers" and their children via a different window of support payments from the taxpayers.
Many years ago my mother listened to a migrant who was complaining on radio about other Aussies complaining about people like him using the welfare system and not contributing to their new homeland, the man was told that he was a bludger, a lazy person. He angrily replied that if people like him use the welfare system nobody should complain, after all he said they are your laws.
