Robert J. Samuelson, an economist, says that America will remain the greatest power in this century, citing a study by Goldman Sachs. I've been saying that for years, and, now, everyone is beginning to realize what I (and John) have known for the longest time. He then says that this may not be the point, because America will continue to have problems, namely, with so many of its people facing lower incomes than before. That's true, but this and other issues can only be solved with America as the world's leader. No other power can lead the world out of its current mess - not the Europeans, or the Chinese, or the Russians. No one.

As this country becomes less and less Anglo and more and more "others", it is IMPERATIVE that the others assimilate into our society - whatever it looks like - and become like those who came before them. If we become a blue collar nation, we will not continue to be a 1st class nation.
