That's the craziest sporting event I've ever seen. Gotta give the guy credit though. Great athleticism - excellent timing and phenominal leg strenght.... What did you all feed him?

Not like those Dallas 'Cowboys' pansies!
They came out to Australia a year or so ago, and they took them to an Australian Rules football match. They decliined the offer to have a go at it.

Jerry,
Good observation. It is mainly the run up from behind, if at all possible, and the spring is timed to get him as high as possible an the EXACT moment the ball arrives. The bad part s the landing, and they sure come down with a thud!
If you look VERY closely, they sometimes manage to get a 'ride' up the back of the man in front and even end up with their knees on his shoulders.
If he firmly gains control of the ball, he is awarded the mark and gets his free kick.

They decliined the offer to have a go at it. ;-) SJ Not sucking up- here, and not going for laughs, but, years ago some TV network broadcast a competition between a group of NFL stars and a group of Ballet performers <insert limp wrist here> The ballet guys won....
