During the Jewish wars 72 ad-76 ad the last bastion of the Jewish rebels was on the mountain top at Masada , there were supposedly some 300 Jewish holdouts on top of Masada , the Romans surrounded the place and set out to building a ramp to the top , the night before the Romans reached the top , the Jews committed mass suicide . End of story , not quite , 2000 years later archeologist's dug the place up and found less than 10 skeletons , so ? .

These 10 skeletons most likely are the remains of those perished during the fire in the last night. The other remains and four recorded survivors were most likely transported to the feet of the mountain, where they were controlled and recorded. The Romans wanted to be sure that they got everyone of the trouble-makers and that none escaped unnoticed. Back when I was in Judaea and visiting Masada it was believed that they were buried somewhere between the auxiliary camp right at the foot of the mountain and the main camp of I-V cohorts a bit to the South.

The Roman colossium was built on the spoils of the Jewish wars , so the Jews did leave something to history .

Yes, but from the second wave of Rebellion and mainly the temple hoard of the temple of Jersualem in 70 AD.
BTW the Romans did an ethinc-cleansing campaign in Judea, to move all Jews out and re-named the area Syria/Palestina. So you now know whom to blame.
