It looks like Stanley has made me a moderator on the Vietnam section of this forum (here they call it a board not a section). Welcome and we honor your posts regarding the Vietnam experience as long as it accepts the fact that both combat and REFM troops were required to conduct modern war. Gently interservice rivalry is encouraged but calling your fellow troop a vicious four letter name is frowned upon. The prime directive is Have Fun

What? You wanna start a blood bath here? It's gonna be a pretty one-sided battle, I think.

Yeah, I guess I am more liberal than most here because I go for whatever makes some sense for this so-called free country! Hi Don. Good to see you here. Are you still maintaining two homes, one here and the other in Navada?

Hi Don. Good to see you here. Are you still maintaining two homes, one here and the other in Navada? Yes, right now we're in SSF. But I will be going alone to the Reno home in a day or two. That is to pick up my stuff to go on solo backpacking trip. Tom is not into that type of stuff, but I am. All my backpacking equipment is at the Reno home. I want to complete this trip here, that I started last year: forums.backpacker.com/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=852107219;t=9991150845I couldn't last year because of the heavy snow on the ground--In late July. -Don-

MCN We ain't fussy, so whatever suits you. Either way, you'll have good company with Jerry, Tim, possibly Dave, and I on Asian military history. What's TGI?

Swampy has said it! Anything goes as long as it has to do with Vietnam - Tactics, strategy, logistics, personal accounts, unsubstantiated assumptions, outlandish stories, etc. Just don't go overboard with the last two....
