Imagine if Germany had put the ME-262 in full production in late 1942 the Allies had nothing to compete or compare to it the situation on the Eastern Front would have been altered the Russians had absolutely nothing to stop it , just another might have been .

If the pompous fools running the RAF had seen the obvious, the Meteor would have been in service long before the 262.

The Gloster Meteor flew first. And, as I understand it, the Allied air forces had ways to counter the greater speed of the 262.

There were a number of experimental aircrafts before, so reliability in series would be the key-factor. It might have increased the attrition of the bomber-forces, maybe to a level which no longer could be absorbed, maybe not. The main problem was that the flying tactics and skills where not yet on the level needed to take full advantage of this technology. You could see this develop during the Korean War.

MS,
The general view is that the RAF chiefs were dead against anything without a propeller. They delayed the thing a critical time.
It certainly was underpowered, but in 1945/6 with better engines, it held the World Speed Record of 606 MpH. The 4x 20mm cannons were not as good as the 4x 30mm, but I doubt that would have made much difference. The 'Weight of Shot' was about the same I believe.
The standard tactic was to wander about near the Gerrnan airfields and wait for the 262 on take off or landing.

SJ. The standard practice was to hang around Luftwaffe air fields was quite true , but if Jerry had got his head out of 'is ass in '42-43 and went into full production there wouldn't 'ave been anyone to 'ang around the air fields .

Once the Germans came up with the 262, the Anglo-Americans would have rushed the Meteor into service. That's the nature of competition, especially in war.

The Meteor would have been like a fart in a whirlwind against the 262 . Why? The Anglo-Americans had far better technology, from the Garand M-1 to the Mustang with its Rolls-Royce to the C-rations to the cotton uniforms. Yes, the Germans had the 88's and the Tiger, which were better than what the Allies had, but, by and large, the advantage lay clearly with the Allies.

That's what the Federals said at Chancellersville when the were soundly beaten by and Army half they're size , the Germans had their back to the wall with no place to go , when your in that position you get inventive or give up the Germans were very inventive and they were at least a year ahead in jet engine tech . The Mig was nothing more than another name for 262 also the super saber .

Not quite, I think you may be referring to the MiG 15, which had STOLEN British engines (thank you komrade clement atlee), installed.

No, komrade clement was as big a socialist as was stalin and he handed over 6x RR 'Nenes' as a present to his master.
No licence to reproduce, but that did not stop stalin who promptly reverse engineered the things into the 'Klimov'? that went into the Mig15 that beat the sox off the US pilots.
