SK military is confirming increasing activities on the nuclear test-facility Punggye Ri in NK. It is not known whether NK is preparing a fourth test or is just playing with the US satellites monitoring the area.

SK has retreated from comments earlier that NK might prepare the next nuclear test, it seems that was just a show by NK forces.
Putin thanked America for re-scheduling a missile-start to avoid a further escalation.
China expects all this to end April 11, after the 101st birthday of the founder of NK.

Hmm, NK Daily reports that the NK military has demobilised its complete military reserve units and sent them to work on the fields and produce fertiliser. Seems war has to wait until the spring work is done.

Americans are concerned we will enter into another no win war , they need to put their concerns to the side if this gong show turns into a shooting war S.Korea will take care of it , S.Korea has been itching for a number of years to put paid to N.Korea .

A quiet little chat with/from Beijing perhaps? Well, the wording of the diplomatic warnings from China to NK becomes stronger every day. Diplomats here are joking that the next level would be to start using "f*ck" and "d*m". ;D

Whether they would do so today, I cannot estimate of course, but there is there the possibility. I recall that in an interview of General Michael Hayden he said that his message to those several Eastern nations would be: "Do not underestimate us." I think that the NKs are gravely underestimating the seriousness and the consequences of their silly activity.

It was reported here that China is not taking sides now and is not complaining about US military activities in the region.

After some calmer days NK is starting to act again by moving two additional medium-range ballistic missiles to the east coast and preparing all four rockets now. The two USN destroyer off the coast might be able to handle two or three of them during the ascent-phase, but due to the distribution a third destroyer might be neccessary to cover the existing gap. Seems the USA was to distracted by the events in Boston and Syria for the NK leaders in the recent days, so they have to start some problems to get their attention again.
