Just wondering, Greg, have you ever shot at anyone? Yes. Luckily to no effect, except that they quit bothering me. Now, you know that answer can not stand without expansion. What were the circumstances? What was the outcome? Where did it happen? What did the cops have to say?

Yes, I'd also like to know the details of your shooting, Greg.

In L.A. you need to spend $350K+ to get even a semi-nice house, and $500K+ to get a house most people would describe is "very nice!" LA is cheap compared to here. $500,000.00 here will buy you a dump that nobody would call even "semi-nice". Twice that will get you a decent house in a poorer area of this city. That is, if you can find one for sale. -Don- San Francisco

So LA is cheap? I'm asking because I'm thinking of setting up an office there.

Hmmm, is that a good part of town? I hear the public transportation is awful, unlike NYC.

"I recall the '50s/'60s when we thought we might have a nuclear war". Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm too lazy to look at your earlier posts), but didn't you say that you were 53? If so, the 50s were before you were born so your knowledge of hiding under the desk must be from the womb. By the 60s, that part of life was pretty much over (the hiding under the desk part). Some of us here had already been testing under fire. How about you? You were too lazy to discover that I'm not 53. I'm a retired baby boomer. Early model...

Yes, I'd also like to know the details of your shooting, Greg. You can know the result of one of my shootings, I don't shoot my mouth all over the Internet. The end result is that I was fired upon but (obviously) I'm not dead. (Sounded like a 22 to me.)

greg, Your profile says you were born in 1980. I always lie about all my profiles everywhere. I invented a date in 1980 and whenever a forum won't accept "no answer" I use a date I selected in 1980. I was born just after WW II ended. I graduated from UCLA in the late '60s. I'm an early model baby boomer. I hate Internet sites that pry for personal information. I always lie when they won't accept no answer. The only acceptable question is (a) are you under 18 years old, or (b) are you 18 years old or older? I'm a senior citizen who receives Social Security.
